← Manchester Half Marathon
Manchester HM was joined by Manchester Marathon this year as a double headed on the same day. This meant a really early start for me, that early that I was at baggage drop and it was still dark!!!
I had to be in starting pens by 7:50am as the HM was starting before the marathon. Once we were under way the miles seem to fly by, I’ve ran this race a couple of times before so knew most of the route although the last few miles had changed
I got into a good rhythm and just kept with it all the way till the finish, atmosphere is always great in Manchester with supporters coming out in full force to cheer the runners home
I loved the finish this year as the straight wasnt too long, medal again was amazing and then it was off to watch the marathon runners begin their journey
