← Hever Castle Festival of Endurance - Cycle Series
This was my first ever cycling event, so I have nothing to compare it to, but I loved the day and felt that it was very beginner-friendly. The course was well marked and the route was beautiful!
The aid stations could have been equipped more vegan and gluten-free friendly (or at least there could have been a special requirement box when signing up) There was plenty of food available, but not much I could actually have, so I carried what I needed with me from the start. That worked well for this distance but might be more challenging if you are planning on entering the 180k and have any dietary requiements.
There weren't many participants, so at points, the only thing that reminded me that I was cycling in an event was my race number and the marked route.
All in all a super fun day!
