I took part in the sprint Tri last September so wanted a bigger challenge this year and having the familiar location helped with my nerves. The event was very well organised and very well staffed/marshalled. The only downside for me was that the run was 4laps of the same thing, so it felt a bit monotonous. That aside though, I would recommend UK Triathlon and Alderford Lake to others .
