← AJ Bell Great North Run
It's a bit of a hilly course with quite a few long gradual inclines, but it's also a fast start, and a fast finish at the seaside in South Shields. It was a very warm day and they were out in force providing plenty of water en route with showers, and even locals hosing people down. The support around the course was fantastic. After the race they continued to hand out plenty of water to finishers, even in the city centre near the metro station!
