Wow what a great, well organised event. The waved swim start worked fantastically well and I have to say it was the best swim experience I've had in a race. It is certainly worth considering this format for next year. No anxiety in the water and jostling for space, it just worked perfectly. The marshalls were really helpful and many thanks for their contribution in creating a great race experience.
Overall I would highly recommend this race, whether you are a seasoned triathlete or a complete novice. It is a fun, spectator friendly and well organised event. To the organisers and all involved at UK Triathlon, many thanks for a great weekend
