← Great North West Half Marathon
One of the few races on this weekend with #StormDennis kicking up a fuss!!
Correct decision was made as it had gusty winds but no danger to any runners or spectators at all.
Pick up number on the day before heading off along the prom, route isn’t the best as it’s 4 out and back loops in 2 different directions but if you can get your head around that then it’s a fast and flat route perfect for PB’s.
I had to opportunity to pace the 2:15 group and it was tough those last 3 miles but we got back in time to receive tech top, medal, water and chocolate.
Race I would do again just hopefully no storm this time
