The last of the 3 G3 race series put on by AAT Events was pretty epic. It was muddy and hilly, with a bit more mud thrown in for good measure.
I always forget how steep the 'steep' side of St.Marthas really is. It involves scrambling up it on all fours at one point, and there was also a fallen tree for good measure.
AAT events have gone plastic free and were giving out water in paper cups and encouraging you to bring your own water vessel. This is great for the environment.
There were amazing brownies, flapjack and bananas on the finish line, and breakfast at the Plucky Pheasant was the icing on the cake to a perfect morning.
I recommend this race to anyone, and it's easy to see why it sells out every year.
