Good atmosphere along parts of the routes that go through towns and villages. Navigation is relatively easy as long as you keep following the canal. I did leave the route at one point when it left the canal path and I took a wrong turn and had to backtrack - even then wasn't sure if I was right until I saw the canal again.
As long as there's no diversions away from the canal the navigation is easy, and the route has very little elevation change so makes for a good first Ultra!
Must remember though that it's point to point so you'll need transport, which can also be booked as part of the race entry.
