← Run Silverstone - October
I ran this 5k race with my 11 year old.
We got really useful info emailed before the day. Loads of parking when we got there, loads of toilets, changing area, and a place to get coffee.
We picked up our race packs on the day with no issues.
The race started on time. I was a bit sceptical about the logistics of starting 3 distances at the same time, but it worked! There were two points where 5k runners had to take a different route to everyone else, but that was managed really well by the marshals. The course was great - a wide flat road, no potholes, lumps or bumps anywhere!
Lovely medal at the end and a t-shirt, as well as protein bars, water and crisps.
Best thing about this race was the marshals - all them them friendly, helpful and supportive on the course.
