← Brighton 10K

This is the second time I have taken part in the race (last time was 2017- where I got a PB.) This was my first race after having chemotherapy for 6 months and it was perfect. A small field of under 2000 meant that the course was not too busy. It is a flat route (PB potential if you are fit!). The marshals and signage were excellent and we felt safe throughout the race- there are road closures. The route itself takes you out and back along the seafront- we were lucky that there was very little headwind. We spotted out friend heading towards the finish. Some local support along the way. Loved the views of the sea and the pier!

The medal is quite basic and you get a banana at teh finish. But no waste generated in the goody bags. Basically a good quality, friendly race which is good value for money.

I think something went wrong with the text result service, but online results were accurate!
