← XNRG The Druid's Challenge

It blows my mind how well organised and wonderful the whole XNRG team and volunteers were this weekend. From shuttling us around and organising speakers to helping runners get their shoes off and coming around at night with chocolate, they're experienced, friendly, and think of absolutely everything.

I honestly don't know how they turn a profit. This is what was provided:

- Sports massage
- Breakfast and a hot dinner (with cake!)
- Speakers each night
- Three checkpoints a day (sliced fruit, mini sandwichs, pretzels, squash, flat coke, coffee, sweets, electrolyte)
- Halls to sleep in
- Camp beds for hire
- Tea, coffee, soup, cake at the finish
- Medics
- Shuttle buses to and from train stations
- Mountain biker marked the trail each day
- Medal, technical shirt, finish line arch
- Prizes
- Timing chips and checkpoints were smooth and effortless
- Craic
