← Beachy Head Marathon
This is a thoroughly lovely trail marathon. There was only a few road crossings and the rest was mud, grass, and beautiful views. It's a big race too, with 2201 finishers this year, so there's a lot of support and people to run with. It's well organised; home-base is a school where there's bag storage, washrooms, and a hot meal for afterwards.
It has a reputation as tough. There's a lot of up and down for sure and if it's you're first marathon then you'll work extra hard for it, but the trail isn't technical and it's well supported.
