← Chiswick Half Marathon
This is a very friendly half marathon. The course is flat and car-free, but not close to traffic, since it is along the river. Only one loop, and with nice views along the Thames path. The terrain is mixed, with road parts but also muddy and stony parts along some parts of the river. At times it can get very narrow, due to other pedestrains, runners, dogs, and kids on bikes, especially if the weather is good and people go out. Sadly there are no Mile marks, and one has to rely on a running watch. Water stations are ok, but in the race breifing we were promised gels on the last feed stations, while no gesl were to be seen. Great venue to start and finish, good quality finisher T-shirt and medal! I would reccomend this event!
