A busy half marathon- the busiest one I’ve taken part in with around 24,000 runners.
Whilst it’s the busiest half, it has the BEST support - all the way around. The crowds really do not disappoint.
A relatively flat course with just a couple of small inclines.
Well stocked water stations (although would like to see maybe smaller bottles or some way to reduce plastic use - maybe seaweed pouches tried?) gels at 10k and I think there was lucazade at a later station.
Great to down into Cardiff bay and lovely view across the barrage, before taking you back into Cardiff and around roath lake.
Well organised pens for a layered start.
This year the goody bag was brilliant, and a great T-shirt and medal.
A great course for a PB - and it’s always great weather!
