An absolutely unique race, running on front of not one, but two castles - Hever & Chiddingstone. The route is gorgeous, but also *very* tough, especially on a wet day where the mud makes it really difficult to get any grip. Also - the route measures more than 10k, so if you are pacing for a time, keep that in mind.
It is very well organised and everything ran like clockwork. We had a delay on the start times due to adverse weather conditions, but we got informed of this via text and the event started on the time mentioned in the update. Picking up race number and baggag edrop was a breeze and we got a freebie belt for our number!
Overall a great event, though it would be great if you didn't have to pay extra for a t shirt! I would certainly recommend it and am thinking of doing the triathlon here next year!
