← York 10K

This was another great RFA event. Race numbers were posted out for most, but I registered on the day. It was all quick & easy. Baggage deposit/collect was also smooth.

There was a good pre-race atmosphere, with the charity village & stalls added to the flavour of the day.
York is such an historic city, and it's a superb place to run around.
The course had the odd twist, little bump to run up, but also fast sections. I would say it has bags of PB possibilities.
Marshals were awesome and crowd support was very good.
Finishers received a well stocked goodie bag, cool shirt and quality medal. There was also free massage and medal engraving, but there were quite long queues for this.

In summary-
I would say York is the 'jewel in the crown' of the Run For All  10k series. They're all awesome but this one stands out.
What you get for your race fee is a slick, well organised event.
Everything worked like clockwork from start to finish.
Thanks for an awesome day.
