I absolutely loved this race and want to book on for next year already. It’s challenging without being so hard you need to walk. The views are fabulous and the terrain so varied it really keeps you on your toes. There is a beer and a chip
Butty for all participants at the end. The only criticism I would have is regarding the start and finish. At the start there are nowhere near enough toilets for the number of runners. It states in the fliers that the train back to the start - it’s point to point - is close by but it’s a 40 minute walk to the station which in the cold and wet really puts a downer on things. I’m sure it wouldn’t be impossible to put on a bus or something like they do elsewhere. Great course though.
