← Hever Castle Festival of Endurance - Run Series
What is going on with the medal? Seriously - I get better ones from my local neighbourhood 1k fun run (if such a thing existed). Apart from this (..) the whole day was well organised which given the number of events going on at the same time is an acheivement. The course is very much undulating and whilst there is the odd mound of opportunity it's a great place for people like me who only "dip their toe" into the world of trail running. I suspect the full marathon route may be a little repetitive which may sound strange given the beautiful location altough in reality much of the course is away from Hever itself (to be expected I guess) Will I be back now I have achieved goal of a sub 2 trail half? Unlikely - suspect I'll be off to Bewl Water as they tend to coincide. And oh, the medal......:(
