← Bigfoot Daventry Challenge
Loved the idea of taking a day off work to run as much or as little as I pleased. The course was 3.3 miles through the country park on mixed terrain - compacted gravel paths, trail and a loop through a meadow full of sheep which was a bit lumpy and bumpy in places. Was surprised to cover 9 laps and run an ultra distance. I think it was £29 as an affiliated athelete so £1 per mile was great value in my book. I’d love to have another crack at it again to see if I can get further but next time I’d choose the beer to take home at the end as the cider wasn’t to my taste!
Jo, thanks for the review! Given the conditions were definitely less than perfect you'd be able to squeeze a few more miles out for sure!! Sorry you didn't like the cider, it's award winning but everyone's taste is different - you'll have to try the (award winning again!!) beer next time. - Big Bear Events
