← Cancer Research UK London Winter Run

Like the name of the race suggested, there was a winter theme. Support came from polar bears, penguins, and wolves to high five along the way around. Furthermore, in several places along the route, there were, choirs singing, bands and buskers playing. I also noticed some temporary toilets along the course as well in case you needed a comfort stop.

There was one water stop approximately halfway around. The route was flat, and it was enjoyable passing through the city's landmarks such as St Pauls Cathedral etc. Several runners were wearing Cancer Research UK tops. Some had pictures of loved ones on their backs, this was very poignant. Not once did I feel bored running around the course.

The cost of entry coupled with travel cost might seem a little expensive for some. That being said, let's remember the event raises money for Cancer Research UK, and not everyone will have travel in from just outside London.

I would do it again for a sociable run with others with the added vibrant atmosphere-
