This is the second year in a row for me in this event and it really didnt dissapoint!!

Pen Y Fan is a fantastic mix of beauty and brutalness (the trail runners dream :-)) The natural beauty is put on by nature but the route is crafted by the race directors. Their love of trail and these mountains shines through in every mile of this race. Nothing is by chance, every filthy climb and beautiful vista has been run by them and crafted into this amazing route.

In my humble opinion, this is an absolute must run if you love trail running!

Now for the logistical bits....

Well run - good race briefing and very clear on logistics etc

Marshalls - Course is well marshalled (one was an absolute hero and stayed with a hiker who ran into trouble until mountain rescue came!!) and the course was well flagged out.

Fuel station were well stocked 

Medals are great and you get a cool buff as well!!!

What more can you ask for?? See you next year!!!
