← Castle Howard - Run Series
I took advantage of a cheap deal to enter this event - so it cost me something like £12 to enter, which represents cracking value. Run as part of a triathlon weekend, the 10k is mostly trail running, which is quite stoney and uneven in places. The start and finish is fantastic, right outside Castle Howard itself, which makes for some spectacular pictures. Crowds were good, as expected in this area, but very limited elsewhere. There were plenty of aid stations, as a half marathon was being run at the same time, serving water, energy drink and sweets. All-in-all a decent event and worth doing.
