The whole weekend there’s lots going on and different races. I chose the half marathon. Parking was easy with a short walk away from the venue at the MK Dons football stadium. The bib number collection and bag drop were in the stadium. Everything seemed fairly well organised.  

The route takes you up and down some of the roads in Milton Keynes, which is on a grid road layout. On this occasion it was an extremely hot day so had to duck for shade where possible. It’s a fairly flat course with plenty of water stops. As it was so hot the marshals were giving more water out (bottles) on other parts of the course. There were lots of spectators in various parts of the course and a upbeat happy atmosphere. There were a few little slopes to contend with but nothing major but other wises it's mainly flat throughout.  

The finish is great, entering the stadium and running one lap.  The medal and goodies also great, plus a t-shirt. I would definitely enter the race again.
