My friend and I both entered this race.  The race HQ is at the Local Rugby Club, which is a lovely facility.  At the venue, there was free parking, bag drop, toilets etc.

The run starts and finishes on the grass playing field, otherwise, it is run on local roads and pavements. There is a slight slope for the first few kilometres and then a little more of a slope for the next kilometre or so. After that its pretty much flat / downhill all the way.

There is a water stop at the halfway mark and marshals were encouraging. Eventually, you enter the rugby clubs grounds and run around the perimeter of the field to the finish.

Unfortunately there as not a medal, which is a shame as I always like a one for the collection. Instead, you were given a buff.  The race is chip timed and costs only 12 pounds to enter, so not bad value really.

I probably would do it again, although it was not as flat as I first thought. I would do it again as a general race for fun but not looking for a PB.
