← Run Wigan Festival
Well supported half marathon which supports the jumping jack charity. Part road, part canal tow path and part off road up to haigh hall. I knew there was going to be a big hill getting up there but my word the slog up to the hall was tough, thankfully it was followed with a nice downhill back to the finish. The hill caught a lot of people out but made for a challenge.
Good medal, nice tech shirt and for the best finishing touch, a free pie at the end! Nothing quite like stuffing your face after a 13.1 mile run. They also did the free pie for the 5k runners as well!
