← Leeds 10K
Ok, I'm biased. Ilive in Leeds so of course I will support my local 10K. However, that being said this is a great race. Its friendly, the crowds are ace and starting and finishing in millenium square so brilliant.
Its a flat course. so if it's a PB you want its fast.
Chances are it'll be hot and there is very little shade but there are water stations and locals spraying you with water!
It's an out and back course and yes, you will see runners already on their way back before you hit the half way point and no, this isn't a pretty course.
The medal is okay and the goody bag pretty decent.
What makes this race special is the atmosphere. It's just lovely. Everybody is so relaxed which is rare for a race with a decent crowd.
Honestly, run this race, you wont regrett it.
