← Stoke on Trent Festival of Running
After last year I was pleased to hear the Festival was reduced to just a 5 & 10k. My belief is that the city needs to establish a good solid event before taking on so many different Distances one or two days.
So this year was just a one lap 5k and a two lap 10k. And it worked. So much better. The event had more runners, the logistics were better and had a community feel.
The route wasn’t amazing but then we are in an industrial city. It was challenging with two steep short banks so was something to get stuck into.
Tshirt was good and the medal is unique.
