← Hanley Economic Potters 'Arf Marathon
The streets of Stoke. Not pretty but amazingly well supported.
Well organised and established race with pre race logistics all fine. Start was smooth but seeming a late one at 11am (I was getting hungry again).
The course is not anything special but the locals come out in force. They clap, cheer and encourage better than any race I know. Even Manchester Marathon has quiet parts. Not in the Potteries!
Medal was unique as it was ceramic although goody bag was mostly leaflets
