2nd time of runnng this , and I’m sure I will run it again !
Set in Windsor , with the castle as a backdrop this is a really good fun event .
Registration takes place in a pub which kind of gives away what’s next !
The idea of this race is to literally beat the boats that are full of supporters all cheering /abusing you 😂 boats for 40, 50,60 amd 70mins pretty much has everyone covered .
Now the aid stations . While this is a race which a few at the front rightly take seriously , for the rest of us ... Runfave ensure that’s its fun by haveing lager and Prosecco at the 2 aid stations . Fine by me 😂
Route is 2 laps of field then along the Thames path , on to some flat trails, a school field and a zig zag of the field to finish , good medal and t-shirt £1 off first pint in pub all around value for money !
