The route was a little odd because of the start being so far away from the ‘start line’ and then it ran through the finish line to come back round again. I was not a fan of the course route, but I enjoyed the challenge of the hilly terrain. I had a great day overall but didn’t like the plan of the route. Full road closures would be better but I can understand that it isn’t an easy request. All the staff were great/helpful & would be great for newbie runners. nice local race.
