← AJ Bell Great Birmingham Run
I've taken part in this race the last few years. This year there was a change of route. The old route was ok, took the race past Edgbaston cricket ground and a lap of Cannonhill Park to add a little beauty. The new route is dire. Heading out into a part if Birmingham that is a bit of an eyesore. The city centre start was great but was gone in 2 minutes. The race is also now mega hilly. I can't see anyone from outside of the city doing this race again if the route is the same next year. Just to add there was a disco tunnel. Nice touch to a poor route.
