This is the third time I've ran this race and again it was a really enjoyable run. Still some minor issues with the organisation around the finish but it was improved slightly on last year.

I collected my bib on the Friday from the expo, this is easy and can be posted for a fee. The expo is small but there are a couple of merchandise stands and the usual running accessories to buy. The official RnR merchandise was the same as last year though.

The race is run on a great route, through the city and the sights then into Sefton Park picking up Penny Lane. The last 4 miles are along the prom, this is tough mentally especially with the headwind we had. 

Nice medal on finishing and collected the remix and encore medals for running the 5k and racing back to back years. This is a great weekend if you like bling. 

Couple of improvements needed with the logistics at the finish still, including some form of paper bag to collect everything you are given through the finish funnel. The t-shirts are clearly miss-printed too, the colours are really dull and faded. Don't let this put you off though it's a great race and a really enjoyable weekend as whole. 

Oh, you also get a free pint when you finish!
