I did this race last year and loved it. I hoped it wouldn’t disappoint if I’d did again and it didn’t.
Well organised and marshalled.
The rainy start kept some spectators away but the support was still good.
A bit mad around the water stations, like most races. Just remember there are more tables of water further down than the first two tables!
Great run starting at the docks and then running into town. On through various parks and finally down to the riverside.
Yes it was very windy all the way along the river but last year it was really warm. It’s the conditions on the day and you just have to deal with it.
If you love bling than this is the running weekend for you. I did 3 races, 5k/Half/1 Mile and earnt 5 medals, receiving the Remix medal for doing 2 races at the weekend and also received the Encore medal for returning to do the half after last year’s half.
Love this running weekend. 3 brilliant races and great nights out in a lovely city.
