I enjoyed the very first Run Gatwick last year but this year was even better.

We had fabulous sunshine thoughout the day and the course shone as we ran from Southgate Park towards Gatwick to have planes landing over our heads as we went under the flight path at the start of the run way! Then into a lovely scenic section (with one small incline - otherwise a flat course) through the countryside and back towards Crawley town centre for the finish.

The event village was bigger than last year with loads of things to do. You really could make it a big day out.

I'd still like to see a bit more local support on some of the quieter sections of the course. The rock choir performing near the end was a nice addition this year but some entertainment on the stretch leading up to the airport would also be really good.
