I’ve done this event for a couple of years so I had good feelings for this one. It’s such a lovely atmosphere. On arrival the place was buzzing and although there were different distances on the day the registration and collection of bibs was swift as always at RunThrough events . The course in Victoria park is flat and fast for those pursuing PB’s . Different distances set off at different times on this lap event so to avoid congestion , that system works well , I’ve never encountered a clog of runners or congestion of any kind at a RunThrough event . Although it was a hot day the water available each lap was plentiful and enough. There is a good supply of portaloos so no problems there either. As it was a celebration Easter weekend there was a mini tin of alcohol free beer and some mini chocolate eggs as a treat at the end. Also of course there was the famous run through flapjacks , bananas and water. I would highly recommend this event it’s such fun.
