← Bacchus Marathon and Half Marathon
A fun race, although the hills were more than I had bargained for! The Marathon course is two laps, so the second lap was pretty tough, although it is pretty scenic as a whole through the vineyards and countryside on trail. Some participants were fully taking advantage of the wine at the stations, not sure if they finished the whole course! Most people, including myself wore fancy dress so it made it a good, fun event that I mostly enjoyed. But to the people shouting 'go spongebob' at me...I wasn't spongebob..I was CHEESE!!
