Pre Arrival: Lots of emails in the run up to the event so you could plan where to get accomidation and also how to get around. Pre Race: Expo was at the Marx Halle, just off the Tram line so easy to get to. Pucking up number & chip very quick and easy, no hassle. Big expo and if you didnt pre order a T-Shirt you could puck one up. Pasta party i did not attend. All the info was in the race booklet so easy to plan race morning and the pen system was easy to understand. Race Day: I didnt understand the 15 min wait after Pen 1&2 started, this wasnt communicated well. I get it was to split up the 40K+ runners but just let us know in the booklet Course is good no crazy hills but its not flat either. Lots of support on route which was good, aid stations average with water, gatorade & bananas. Shame about all the plastic cups, so mahy all over the road. Needs addressing. Marshalling ok, no chance to get lost but bon runners cutting the couse annoying Post Race: Medal & goodie bag. Not much in the bag, fruit & water really. Erdinger a nice touch. Bag collection really easy and there were showers so 👍🏻 Its a good race, Vienna transport makes ot straight forward. 25 mins from the airport. Maybe a bit expensive but i enjoyed the day out
