This was a great morning out on an undulating but very runnable course (pleasingly the last 3 miles are all downhill!) around the villages just north of Haverhill. We were given an incredibly detailed course description (I promptly forgot most of it!) from the RD before setting off, but the course was marked at any points where there was an opportunity to get lost. The course runs out of Haverhill to a village where you run a large loop and a smaller loop before returning to the start. As the two loops are fairly different it doesn't feel like a two lap course. I'd highly recommend this to anyone who was after a spring marathon but didn't fancy the cost or busyness of a big city race.
