Thoroughly enjoyed the event. Course was soon put from the hotel district which gave some decent views of the countryside. Not really a fan of ‘turn around point’ sections in races and this had two main ones with the section up and down the main road (prior to the hill section) was a bit dull. Safety question. Im not sure if it was supposed to be clised roads or not. It appeared to be, bit then cars came past. In the section coming back into the final mile there was a police car part blocking the road. But then the officer proceeded to let cars pass behind his car and along the route used by the runners! So im bot sure why he was blocking the road if he was allowing traffic through. That concern aside it was s good race.
