I was offered the chance to run MK Festival Half Marathon as a pacer thanks to xempo pacing, everything was organised through them so i just had to turn up an hour before the event. We were placed in the correct place before the start so runners could easily spot us to run alongside us. Once we got underway it was a nice steady start downhill then through a housing estate and then 2 laps around Willen Lake which had some great views, support was great along the lake and again at the finish. My pacing went perfectly with mile markers being almost spot on the whole way round Nice medal at the finish with bottle of water and some fruit
