Registration was very easy and the race bibs were picked up on the morning of the run. No issues with parking on the street close to the start line. Major issue with the lack of toilets meant the race was delayed by around 20 minutes. The pre race announcement had to be done in 2 parts as the tannoy was not very loud, but it didn't matter as I just follow the people in front. Plus we run this route all the time. It is quite busy at the start line until about 2/3 KM in to the race as the path is narrow. It's about 10KM on the main path then you leave this and run along by the canal for about 6KM then drop back onto the main path. Water stations at about the 5K, 10K and 15K mark in plastic cups. Once over the finish line you are handed your medal, cup of water, flapjack and a banana. Great race, good value, will definitely be doing it again next year 👍👍👍
