I loved this race, because I got to run in fancy dress and the supporters knew my name 'Jasmine'. Usually even when my name is on my bib, I am never cheered for (Kerrieanne looks daunting, but it's not I promise!) so cheered for Jasmine were much appreciated! We had to get the the race 30 min's before our corral so we were there super early and it was wet and cold, the waves didn't set off on time and it felt like there were a million starts! The Expo, was pretty lame, and took ages to get your number etc and my poor mum (& dedicated supporter) wasn't able to watch because they ran out of 'spectator wrist bands' given the scale of the race, I don't think there were enough espically when they knew people were travelling so far to do it (there were a lot of people over from the US)! This is an 'I'd do it once' event! It was fun, but badly organised and very frustrating!
