← The Big Half
My first Big Half didn't disappoint. Need to spend a little time pre race getting your head around the logistics - making sure you know when the bag drop lorries close - and then where your start pen is (there's a decent walk between). Toilets are in the start pens, so worth noting you can't go unless you are in the right pen. Race itself was great, albeit busy over the first half of the race, but then once back over Tower Bridge there was lots of space. Finish funnel was very efficient. Shame the village was closed, but the wind was dangerously strong in places. Overall a great event, extremely well organised as you'd expect!! I will be back in 2020.
