I have wanted to race this event for a few years and this year I managed to get a fair last minute place. No trains meant using the park and ride which I would massively advise against! 50 mins to get to start once I had parked my car (it's 4 miles away) this was equally as bad when returning and had to queue for ages to get away from car park ( a road). The race it's self had good bag drop but start pens felt badly managed. The course is undulating for the first half and flat for second, it's is good but if you have previously run the marathon nothing new to see. Medal was great although goodie bag was poor and no tshirt? Felt a bit tight when smaller cheaper races can provide. Could have done with another water stop but knowone would expect those temperatures in february, the crowds as ever in Brighton were big and supportive. Overall it's a decent event but there are better.
