← The Quicksilver Hampton Court Half Marathon
This was probably the friendliest half marathon - runners and marshalls were all so polite saying thank you to each other anlong the way, putting rubbish in the bin rather than just lobbing it across the path! The river sections of the run are absolutely glorious. There is a fair bit of narrow pavement-running, so be sure to start in the time wave that you'd like to hit, because there are sections where you won't be able to overtake. Really well organised, the green is a great spot. Perfect race for first-timers, or those wanting to push a PB on the flat. Toilet queues were ridiculous before the race, but this is a pretty common problem.
