Great low-key start and registration process however I didn't enjoy the run itself. Having done a few headtorch races before, I was expecting more marshals / support on the course and a bit more effort to make it feel like an event (glowsticks in trees, more signs etc) - also the zig-zag finish was a bit of a nightmare and really the step hazards marking and a marshal. The medal was top notch and buff very high quality and stylish, soup was perfect option for post race refuelling on a freezing night. I am a big fan of BIg Bear Events and love what the do for the running community., hopefully a few of these issues will be ironed out next time and the temp will warm up a tad!
Thanks for the feedback Lisa. It's disappointing to hear you didn't enjoy this as much as our other events. We thought our approach to our "normal" 6 hour events would simply translate across to a 10K but clearly it needs a little bit of tweaking and we'll take your points on board.
