Hungover NYday 10k- what could go wrong? Neglected to be told it’s the “toughest” 10k in England... not good after a hectic NYE I can assure you. Take my advice - take it easy the night before, it lives up to its reputation! Absolutely stunning course, views wonderful. Medal/tee/mug/soup/butty at the finish, although sadly they’d ended up running out of tshirts which considering the cost of running is a bit poor. In addition to this, my and my friends petite frames were drowned in the only tees left - XL, which kind of defeats the point of the size being printed on your bib. Boxhill was busy on the day, make sure you arrive in good time, and give Andy the boxhill dude less grief than some were giving him about the parking sitch - runners and members of the public being really rude to him about lack of parking is just out of order. Just organise yourselves and get there in good time. Other than that had a cracking time and free photos were a nice bonus!
