Having done LCW Wales i was keen for Mallorca. Registration was easy and the hotel was brilliant. Zafira Tropic staying with the Elites The swim was brilliant. Clear warm water. Lots of space and a nice current to assist. Bike day was marred but very poor weather. Thunder and lightening as we set off but as its a sportive we were in a pack and covered the route quickly. 2 laps in total. Sasly i crashed at 60 miles. Slippy roundabout. My fault. Not brilliant support from marshalls but was offered ambulance. Declined and managed to finish the bike leg. Sadly dir to injury i had to pull out of the marathon. It did manage to hobble (literally) round the 5km course so did get my 3rd medal. Amazing award ceremony for those collecting the covetted 4th medal. Next year for me. In general organisation was ok but the help desk didnt seem to know much. Other competitors made the event worth while and enjoyable.
