This is my favourite 10K ever 😀 Registration was very easy, updates issued regularly, race number arrived in plenty of time. The race HQ are located in the leisure centre which is across the road from the train station - the best option to avoid any congestion. Toilets available to use in the leisure centre and outside, no more busy than other events. The atmosphere is amazing, very friendly event. The event had pacers. It was a little busy for the first 2K then everyone settled into their pace. Fantastic support from the marshalls and spectators. Lovely views on route with a fantastic rainbow near the end. Route was very well signed and water station at approximately 5K. The course is a great for a PB as quite flat or downhill but as with every downhill there is an uphill, this was around the 9K mark. Amazing support at the finish line along with a bottle of water, gym bag containing a tasty flapjack, sweets and a tube of hydration tablets. The best bit of all was the medal, it's the nicest one yet 🎄🎄🎄 Would I recommend this race - absolutely 100% - am I doing it again next year - definitely - my place is already booked 🎅🎅🎅
