This half marathon is a two lap course and before anyone stops reading please continue. As like you I hate two laps but honestly you will enjoy it. We came from Cardiff to run this and it didn't disappoint. The route is along the cycle ways of Stevenage which also deviates off into Fairlands Valley Lakes and park, this Scenic route is great the support from the Marshalls is amazing and there was plenty of Marshalls, the fellow runners are also cheering and supporting each other along. With under 700 runners this half marathon is one of the smallest I've run but certainly up there with the most friendliest, the start and finish is that ridlins running track and to finish you run 400m of the track with the crowd cheering from the grandstand. To the race director to those at the water stations to the Marshalls to the crowds thank you and I will certainly be back next year this half marathon is a must for anyone. The hills of which there were plenty was challenging but enjoyable see you in 2019
